Will Not Work With Heidts Spindles The G-PLUS lower control arm is designed for converting your vehicle over to a coilover suspension. Coilover suspension results when the spring rests on the shock; the shock body is threaded and has an adjustable collar that rotates around the body. Coilover shocks and springs give you an added benefit of an adjustable ride height with no frame modifications. The lower arms are specifically designed for supporting vehicle load through the shock. QA-1 shocks will bolt directly to these lower control arms. Please note that these arms will not accept standard springs; please see P/N 608583 for spring application. These control arms are shipped fully assembled with ball joints, bump stops, sway bar end links and bushings. The Del-a-lum bushing found on these control arms perform more like a ball bearing than a bushing, the outer steel sleeve contains an internal plastic insert which rotates on a steel inner sleeve. Each side of the bushing is reinforced with additional plastic thrust washers backed by steel thrust washers which provides control of fore and aft bushing flexion. A grease fitting is utilized with each bushing to provide full-access lubrication which leads to longer bushing life. Del-a-lum bushings do not squeak or make noise making the fit and function superb for your restoration.
